Yin Yoga

Definition – What does Yin Yoga mean?

Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a long period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.

Forever Yin – source of long lasting youth!

Yin Yoga – source of long lasting youth!

The direct action on the connective tissue, due to the composition and interaction of the components itself, is equivalent to a complementary, accelerating and healing influence.

We act directly on the chi currents, which are kept functional and qualitatively sound and clean through constant maintenance work – our Yin practice.

Everyone practices within his/her limits and self-chosen intensity. Experience shows that the best results are achieved at an intensity of 60-70% in the execution of the asanas.

Since Yoga is 99% practice and 1% theory, I invite you to experience this for yourself and dive straight into the practice. There is no prior knowledge required.

I will be happy to share my experiences with you. My experience and practice was brought to me by Christian Bliedtner from Panda Yoga, who in turn learned from Paul Grilley, Maheswara and Shakti Lehner, Travis Eliot, EckartYoga.

Let’s bolster 2 the max and rejuvenate together!
